Tonight is the second Presidential debate. While there will be many important issues discussed, one thing is not in dispute: the critical importance of voting. As a 501(c)(3) organization, the NPA does not endorse any candidate for elected office, but we do believe it is essential for our members to educate the community about issues at stake in this election–and we believe patients should be encouraged to vote.
Please pledge to vote and to help publicize Election Day in your workplace:
Pledge to Vote. Before you take the step to encourage others to vote, let us know that you’re personally on board to turn out on election day. Our voting pledge page also includes resources to find your local polling place and hours if you’re uncertain.
Download a poster for your office. This poster is branded with the National Physicians Alliance and RxDemocracy logos and is a great visual reminder about the upcoming election on November 6.
Order Stickers and Buttons. Why just have a reminder of Election Day on the wall when you can wear it? NonProfitVote.org has buttons and stickers available to order at very low cost – you can buy a set for your colleagues to wear in the days leading up to election day as a reminder to vote and to help start a conversation about the issues at stake in this election.
Thank you for helping improve our nation’s public health by promoting good civic health.
And don’t forget to vote!
