Medicaid Expansion: Take the Money

While governors across America are deciding whether or not to accept federal dollars to expand their own state’s Medicaid eligibility for those up to 138% of the federal poverty level, NPA members are making the moral and economic argument in favor of expansion. Under the Affordable Care Act, the federal government will cover 100% of a state’s costs for Medicaid expansion for the first three years, and 90% thereafter.
