Fight the ACA Repeal – Call your Senators

Posted by Becky Martin, NPA Advocacy Director January 10, 2017 at 4:56 PM

Take Action – Fight the ACA Repeal
Call your Senators to let them know that the “repeal and delay”
plan is bad for patients!

We are joining allies to tell our Senators to say NO to ACA repeal.  No matter where you live, it is critical that you call your Senators and tell them that your patients can not afford repeal of the Affordable Care Act without a plan for replacement that provides equivalent or better coverage.

You can also let us know if you’d like to meet with your Senator’s office next week while they are in-district  to share your concerns about ACA repeal. We can help you coordinate that meeting and provide a guide for what to say.

It is critical that the Senate hears our voice. The current Republican plan to repeal the ACA would be devastating for millions of our patients. Seniors, people with disabilities and children would be left to fend of themselves, hard working families would lose the preventive care coverage they need and over 50 million Americans with pre-existing condition could again be denied healthcare by their insurance companies.

This “repeal and delay” plan is bad for patients and the Senate needs to hear that from you today!
