Meet New NPA Copello Health Advocacy Fellows

Posted by Becky Martin, NPA Advocacy Director March 1, 2017 at 7:20 AM

I am very excited to announce the 2017 class of NPA A. Gene Copello Health Advocacy Fellows. These 10 amazing physicians represent a broad swath of health care from primary care to subspecialties and hail from all periods of a medical career including residency and near retirement.

We kicked off the fellowship at the Families USA conference earlier this month where fellows from: Alaska, Arkansas, Arizona, Florida, Maine, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, and Wisconsin interacted with key healthcare advocates from around the country. They also met with their Senators and Congress members on Capitol Hill urging them to protect health care gains made through the Affordable Care Act and find ways to expand access to equitable, affordable, high-quality health care for all.
