2007 National Physicians Alliance Annual Meeting

The National Physicians Alliance is accepting submissions for workshops, lectures, and panels for its second national meeting, Making Medicine Ours Again: Patients and Doctors United for Health.  Speaking slots will range from 50 to 90 minutes.  Conference registration will be waived for speakers.

Please list prior experience speaking at medical conferences (if none, then include general speaking experience).

Have you given this particular session previously?  If so, when and where?

List two individuals with contact emails and/or phone numbers who can serve as references (these should be people who have heard you speak in a public setting). 

Please send a Word document with the answers to above questions, your CV, and a single paragraph abstract (no more than 1000 words though suggested length is 300 words) to .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address) by November 20, 2006.  Incomplete and/or late applications will not be reviewed.

Submissions will be evaluated by the meetings committee of the National Physicians Alliance, and applicants will be notified by December 1.  We are looking for a broad range of topics and speakers, but are particularly interested in interactive sessions or workshops that are focused on our theme, Making Medicine Ours Again: Patients and Doctors United for Health, and on our core issue areas (Ensuring High Quality; Affordable Health Care for All; Restoring Integrity and Trust in Medicine; Eliminating Health Disparities; Protecting Medicaid; Fighting Health Savings Accounts; and Reforming Malpractice, Promoting Safety).
