NPA Eligibility
You are eligible to be a member of the NPA if you:
- have graduated with an MD or a DO degree from a professional school that is accredited by the LCME or the AOA; or
- if you hold a license to practice medicine within the United States
As a physician organization, the NPA does not include student members. However, we strongly encourage you to consider membership in our ally organization, the American Medical Student Association (AMSA), where many of the NPA's founding members developed their passion for improving health, medical practice, and access to quality care.
