U.S. House of Representatives Passes Historic Health Reform Bill!
On November 7, the U.S. House of Representatives passed HR3962, the Affordable Health Care for America Act, with a vote of 220-215 (click here to see how your rep voted). Inaugural National Grand Rounds
On Monday October 5th, the National Physicians Alliance Foundation, in partnership with the American Medical Student Association, convened a first-of-its-kind National Grand Rounds in Washington, DC. The panel, moderated by Dr. Arthur Kellermann, included health policy advisers from HHS, the Senate HELP Committee, and the House Energy and Commerce Committee who fielded diverse questions from physicians all over the country. Poll Finds Most Doctors Support a Public Option

Find a Town Hall Near You!
Physicians are needed to help restore the health reform debate to one of facts and one of promise. There is too much at stake to simply observe the fear-mongering and distortion. We encourage physicians to put on white coats and attend town hall events in your area.
