Inaugural National Grand Rounds
On Monday October 5th, the National Physicians Alliance Foundation, in partnership with the American Medical Student Association, will convene a first-of-its-kind National Grand Rounds to be held in Washington DC and simulcast around the country. This free session will focus on the up-to-the-minute status of national health reform legislation, with protected Q&A time for physicians to interact directly with policymakers at the heart of federal negotiations. On Monday October 5th, the National Physicians Alliance Foundation, in partnership with the American Medical Student Association, convened a first-of-its-kind National Grand Rounds in Washington, DC. The panel, moderated by Dr. Arthur Kellermann, included health policy advisers from HHS, the Senate HELP Committee, and the House Energy and Commerce Committee who fielded diverse questions from physicians all over the country.
