National Grand Rounds – Managing Industry Conflict of Interest in the Clinical &Academic Setting in conjunction with the American Medical Student Association’s Empowering Future Physicians Conference at Nova Southeastern University and College of Osteopathic Medicine, Ft. - Raise awareness among prescribers about pharmaceutical industry marketing strategies focused on medical students and physicians to influence prescribing habits
- Describe health policy, research and patient care implications for providers and patients resulting from industry relationships that create conflicts of interest
- Identify best practices and advocacy opportunities for medical students and physicians to identify, address and manage potential conflicts of interest in the academic and clinical setting
