This year key features of the health care reform law will be put in place, particularly at the state level. States are approaching implementation in a variety of different ways. In “The Fate of Health Care Reform—What to Expect in 2012,” David Jones discusses four key aspects of health care reform in 2012:
1) 2012 state legislative sessions, which run from February to June
2) The Supreme Court challenge (arguments in March, ruling in June)
3) Establishing state-based exchanges (June deadline to seek federal grants)
4) Election Day 2012 (Nov 6!)
