Target Audience: Physicians, medical students, residents, fellows and other prescribers
• At the conclusion of the activity, participants will have learned how to identify the potential for and mitigate relationships with the industry create a conflicts of interest which may affect medical education, research and health care practice decisions.
• At the conclusion of the activity, participants will understand and employ best practices and utilize other tools available to medical professionals to avoid the potential and prevalence of academic-industry relationships to improve the quality of medical education and research at academic medical institutions and in patient care decision making.
